Mother's Day Brunch

Memphis, Tennessee
After a pause from hosting our Inaugural Mother's Day Brunch in 2019, the well-requested event returned in 2023 with a theme of honoring Mothers that have lost a child of any age to gun violence. This event served as not only an event to honor these mothers and to show our appreciation, but to provide resources and encouragement on the healing journey through networking with others of similar situations, as well as community partners and services.

Our event featured phenomenal talent from the Memphis community, including local musicians such as Joy Freeman, A'Dria, and students from Crosstown High School Music Production. In addition to great music, our speakers were ready to breathe life into each attendee including Dr. Naricia Futrell, Dr. Britney Ely, and Rev. Earle J. Fisher. Our speakers also provided resources for moving forward such as representatives from the Shelby County Crime Victims and Rape Crisis Center.

We look forward to our 2024 event and continuing to reach more Mothers as we grow our event!
